I really like this, the only part I'm not 100% sold on is leaving the lens flare effects in.
But I adore the rather understated star field, looks perfect, and ditto with the nebula/cloud you've done. I'm always extremely envious of people who can do the darker parts so well! Any tips for that you can share?

Glad you like the starfield and nebula. For the darker part of the neb, I used Hue and Saturation to give it a really dark red color. And I used the smudge and warp tools to sculpt its shape. I learned many important techniques from `alyn's Nebula Guide -> [link]
Everything looks fine except that there should be more contrast on the sun and also its glows! Second, U can cut the classical style and use better texture for the ringed planet! Impressive close up planet btw, isn't rendered or is it just a full big planet or did you shape a texture to make it a close up planet?
